Passing on history; history still remains today
The original Shimadzu family villa and Iso Garden, and the Shimadzu family museum, the Shuseikan, still remain in the Iso area of Kagoshima. Here one can see the wonderful legacy of the Shuseikan begun by Shimadzu Nariakira as well as the long history passed on by the Shimadzu family.
