KICS has over 1500 individual members and the support of more than 34 groups and societies, and with their help, sponsors a variety of activities and events throughout the year that help to meet these goals. Our annual events include an International Parent and Child Gathering, and International Bus Tour. Our other activities include the loan of videos related to international exchange, a video conversion service and general lifestyle help for any members of Kagoshima's foreign community. We welcome all residents of Kagoshima, from all nations, to join in our regular society activities, or just to pop in to our office to say hello. KICS is a multi-faceted organisation, with members not only taking part in events, but also aiding KICS' work with volunteer help on a variety of levels. None of the society's work would be possible without the generous support of the interpreting and guiding volunteers, event organisation volunteers, the home stay volunteer families, and even volunteer help with this home page.
